Season Two of Vocal Edge launched on the 15th November 2015, and takes pride of place as the first competition on Smule to feature a full produced audition track with featured music.
Auditions for this season reached over 600, with 399 people receiving enough votes to get into the competition.
This season featured a new, larger panel of judges. Nina and Angelle solidified their guest roles from Season One, and were joined on the panel by Saralinda (S1 Champion), Cryss (S1 Runner-Up) and as well by Indi and Richie, who were invited to join the panel by Brett.
This season also saw the introduction of the coaching role,
undertaken by Brett and Saralinda.

Once again, Vocal Edge featured optional challenges, which could aid contestants directly, by getting them advantage points to pass fierce competition in Round 1.
This tim around, three challenges were set, and again, auditioning early allowed you to participate in all time-limited challenges.

Whilst waiting for the competition to begin, contestants were invited to join the judges in a culmination of talent, resulting in this rendition of

Round One had 286 people who submitted songs, from the 399 who successfully passed the audition stage.
Of those 286 people, 179 of them took part in at least one optional challenge, and 5 contestants got a perfect score in Round 1.

Boybands & Girl Groups
In this round, contestants had to take a song performed by a boyband, or a girl group, and perform
it with at least three part harmony.
154/176 submitted an entry, and
13 of those received perfect scores.

Round Three - Au Natural
A simple concept... Sing as you would sing live.
No layers, No FX - natural sound.
This round saw 94/100 submissions entered and of those,
nine perfect scores.

Contestants were placed into teams, with one of the judges heading up two teams each.
After the teams were ranked, eliminations took place based on rankings, and immunities.
Team Indi were the winners with the

(Duets)
The Top 44 contestants were now seperated onto two teams based on their rankings of running totals
throughout the competition so far.
Each person from Team Saralinda was paired with someone from Team Brett, and given a musical theatre duet to perform.

Charged with putting together a Christmas song in just a short space of time, the top 10 contestants worked hard to find the perfect songs, and perform them...
Kat took to the skies this round, with a perfect score.

Finals - Back To The Beginning
Three finalists battled it out.
Not only did they have to perform a song from the classic Rat Pack era of Sinatra & Friends, but the contestants were also challenged to perform a full produced version of their original audition song from this season.

Kat and Zay both scored equally in the final round, and as a result, Bella was placed in 3rd.
Using the running totals from the entire competition as a sign of versatility and consistency, Zay was declared the winner.
