Tell us a little about yourself... where were you born, where did you grow up, married with children?

I'm a single guy who loves to sing and has been on Smule since May 2015. I was born and raised in the Windy City aka Chicago.

Do you remember the first CD/cassette (or vinyl) you bought?

I remember having a Tweety Bird cassette player when I was like 3, but that's it haha

What are your favourite genres and eras of music?

I love to listen to all except rap and heavy metal (or any screaming), but mostly listen to Pop/R&B.

You were in Vocal Edge way back in Season One, and you also judged Season 2... which did you prefer? Judging or competing?

I think being both a competitor and judge is stressful, but would prefer to be a judge. I think regardless of which I choose/prefer, I would still be learning something. With competing, you get pushed to do something out of your comfort zone with a deadline. Judging, you get to listen to a variety of styles and learn. But judging is something I'd rather do.

Who is your vocal inspiration?

My vocal inspiration, there's quite a few. There's Sam Smith, Brian McKnight, John Legend, and many others. There's also some people on here that inspire me, but not gonna mention names.

One final thing... Brett or Cryss?

Cryss is my 'sis' and her son is my nephew. Brett is a great man and talks to me. I can't make this decision #sorrynotsorry
