Tell us a little about yourself... where were you born, where did you grow up, married with children?

I'm from Baltimore, Maryland US. I lived there until I was 12, then we moved to Georgia where I am now. I have two wonderful children Caleb 7 and Cayla 2.

Do you remember the first CD/cassette (or vinyl) you bought?

The first one I bought with my own money was the soundtrack to RENT (which changed my life lol).

What are your favourite genres and eras of music?

It's hard to choose really, I love songs individually. What I listen to most is contemporary Christian, pop, rock, and show tunes. I grew up in the 90's so of course I love 90's pop.

You are well known for your love of musical theatre and harmonies - what is it about these things that you love so much?

I love all things theater. My dream is to be in a Broadway production. I enjoy singing these types of songs because they allow you to be as dramatic as you want and sing your feelings out. As for harmony, I mean really what's life without harmony lol.

What do you enjoy most about being a judge?

I enjoy how much I've learned from having to critique. It really pushes me to strive for excellence in my own art.
